5 minutes (2)challenge (9)
Description:
Another entry into the 5 minute challenge. I admin I spent a minute thinking about what I would sing as I was pouring a cup of coffee. However, pouring the cup of coffee is also what gave me the idea for the song.

it's all about the BPM &mdash 11/29/06 - 03:16:47 PM
As I was inspired pouring a cup of coffee, I got thinking, what would a song sound like with a caffeine buzz. Then it hit me, 240 BPM.

Glad you liked it.

Better &mdash 11/29/06 - 05:00:11 PM
Though I liked the feel of your first 5-minute song, this one is much more well-put-together. It has a central theme and feel. The lyrics and how they're delivered matches the music very well. Good job.

thanks &mdash 11/30/06 - 12:10:13 AM
Thanks for the comments. I tried to sing fast to match the music. But to think up lyrics on the go and sing fast at the same time didn't work as well as I'd hoped.

But I agree, I think that this is better than the last one.

BTW &mdash 11/30/06 - 10:06:40 PM
I like your sig line. I have a similiar feeling about Garage Band. I come from a musical family. Mother was a voice major. Father taught music at a university for 40 years. Sister ... cello, other sister ... piano, brother ... drums and other instruments.
Me ... until Garage Band the most I played was songs on the radio as a disc Jockey.
I love this program. Let's me explore a part of my personality and talent that lay latent for years.

me too &mdash 12/01/06 - 02:17:01 PM
I spent quite a few years lugging the gear as a DJ as well. My gigs progressed to small airband shows, since I could sit still while music is playing. I started to wear cowboy hats when I played country songs, a ball cap backwards during dance numbers, and the photo to your right was taken one night when I was playing "Shook Me All Night Long"

Don't think my musical ability will ever allow me to headline a real tour though.
