Thumbs up &mdash 12/02/06 - 07:12:58 AM
Man that's out there compaired too you other stuff, I dig the groove though, reminds me off a jazz guitarist I used to know.

Awesome mix, all the levels sound great. This is alternative, with heaps of different instruments to keep me thinking.

All &mdash 12/02/06 - 06:26:55 PM
Thanks for the comments. Yeah, it's a little James Brown, a little James Bond, and a little Rick James thrown in for Freak power. Plus I am a total sucker for strings...

I think the mix turned out well as far as EQ. The bass level is better than the other things I've uploaded. I wish I could re-upload a new mastered version of the stuff I've already put up. Any way to do that?

Great song man! Love it.. This one has a hiphop feeling such as rock or movie soundtrack... We can do a collab on this one... You sing and I verse (rap)... Tell me something :)

great idea &mdash 07/12/08 - 12:30:49 PM
Lava

That's a great idea. I have done that from time to time. I have the philosophy that there is something very telling about the song that any of us chose to "cross the line" with as our first post.

I also know, from having been to a lot of "first posts" that many people never HEARD/LISTENED TO them, because the artist hadn't built a "fan" base yet. So the passion of the "firsts" goes relatively unrecognized. Sniff. (small violin plays now...;-)
