Lyrics
I walk down the gravel road
And cross the swollen creek
One step becomes another
A day becomes a week
I'm so tired of the world
You know it treats me like a slave
Here trees sing to me
Play their strings for me
A song for everything I gave
The water cools my mind
The sun. it warms my heart
The stones hold me like a lover
Why do we have to be apart
Stars burn into my soul
Clouds call to me in sorrow
You know I'll take them when I go
When I leave tomorrow
And cross the swollen creek
One step becomes another
A day becomes a week
I'm so tired of the world
You know it treats me like a slave
Here trees sing to me
Play their strings for me
A song for everything I gave
The water cools my mind
The sun. it warms my heart
The stones hold me like a lover
Why do we have to be apart
Stars burn into my soul
Clouds call to me in sorrow
You know I'll take them when I go
When I leave tomorrow

And this piece has it. Reminds a bit of Lenny Kravits, and a little bit like Stone Temple Pilots. The vocals are great, and the playing is solid across the board. Only thing is that i feel the mix is just the teensiest bit thin. But that's just me--I like a lot of bottom end.
This is a great track that more people need to listen to.
