Description
An emotional outburst of love for my new home in California. And no, I'm not a Jesus freak, or christian. Not have I have any real animosity toward either.....

Lyrics
As long as there’s Jesus and California
As long as there’s Jesus and California
I won’t be afraid to tell you I was born there
I was born there
I carry my coffee and my sheets of rumpled stories
I carry my coffee and my sheets of rumpled stories
And I slick back my hair and walk in the sunset to my glory
To my glory
The earth smells like a piano on a ten year-old afternoon
The earth smells like a piano on a ten year-old afternoon
I slick back my hair and I will walk out to the moon
Walk up to the moon
I love the fields of California in the folds of my mother’s shirt
I love the fields of California in the folds of my mother’s shirt
And I love the dirt in my hands for what it’s worth
Jesus and California

Nice track mate,
The guitar solos that come in the second half of the song remind me of Blur for some reason, I'm guessing I've heard a similar scale in one of there songs.
And I like the theme of the song too.
