Sehr schn ! Gut gemacht!

Thank you very much for listening MJG ! &mdash 12/04/06 - 08:09:01 PM
I appreciate every comment on my tunes - I didn't want to make it longer because I don't want to bore the listener (what I obviously did already ;)).
But if there will be another version ..)

My language is too limited to write all my feelings, but I just want to say that I like this tune, very cool and pleasant piece to listen to.

go-again? &mdash 12/04/06 - 11:29:49 AM
Warm chill... breezy and soothing. Nice sound effects rippling up off the sea floor. Sparkly and clean, just how I like it.

nice oasis &mdash 12/04/06 - 12:42:05 PM
I found here. In the listenathon I've made these last days, where terrible (some) and terrific (a lot) music could be heard - I don't know if it's a special period in MJs records or what - I knew I could rely on you for a fine and peaceful moment. I have'nt been disapointed, as usual. Elegant and cool. Less makes more, isn't ? Well done, Rob.

Great mood &mdash 12/04/06 - 01:34:01 PM
You're doing cool things here with the synths. The echoes on the drums are cool too.

But.... Isn't that snare pattern a bit busy? It implies a 180bpm or so beat, rather than the 90 you'd expect for triphop. This sounds a bit nervous to me for trip-hop.

But the sounds are very good, and your production is professional.

Yes the hi-hats are a problem I have to solve :)
It is your fault when I will step on MacJammers nerves with a third version of this piece :D
Glad you enjoyed it anyway.

Still elegance .. &mdash 12/04/06 - 03:21:36 PM
.. I listened back and forth between the two versions
and I liked the arrangement of sounds better in v2 but I liked the mix in some ways better in the old version personally (sweeps to me in better balance in relation to my ears tweaked bass initial double bass drums that are a bit emphasised in places - they seemed to stand-out a little too much in this version (with somewhat reduced synth chords) and if the drums are just a bit too much, it makes it hard for me at least to relax to an otherwise very ambient tune. I really liked the chime additions (I don't recall in previous version?). Froggie is still
there - but I'm coming round to 'him' now .. and Amagi
hears him too (not going mad .. phew ;o)). Tibetan chiming bowl only appearing now at the 'breakdown' and
end (even though I missed it at the start of the earlier version lol) - it is more prominent and better placed in this. You can't possible cater to all tastes, though in my book (which for me would be to merge what I liked of both v1&2).. still overall, all the main ingredients are there that made this as enjoyeable a listen as v1. I'll shut up now ...

WOW !
What a comment - thank you again for taking the time to listen to BOTH versions and writing all this down !
I think the must be a third version now :D
If - I will keep all your suggestions in mind.
The "Froggie" seems to be my companion ..)
