very cool
It reminds me of being in the lower east side at three in the morning listening to some underground band and totaly diggin it. The loose playing, the repeated unitillegable lyrics is what gives this song its hutspa

You're just homesick

In the bullpen...
at a video editing joint - the place that made Popup Videos. No neighbors to complain between 7 and 11pm - after that we've had the cops come by though.
One guy played a mean cowbell.

At some point
sounded like Joe Strummer's ghost came in to yell in the mic. I've seen him at the Roundhouse in London, around 75/76, with his band, the 101'ers (just before The Clash). Sounded very close to what you are doing now (maybe he was more r'n'b, at this period). Great track. Wish I had time and opportunities to make some NOISE and have FUN like you and your friends ! Thanks, bud.

Very kind
To make the Strummer comparison - Waldy will be quite pleased. I actually got to work with The Clash for a while producing the video This Is Radio Clash and a documentary that never got finshed. You can see what's left of the doc at the end of Westway to the World. Try to find some likeminded folk to get together with - it's a lot of fun. We actually use Craig's List from time to time to bring in new blood.

we can support! really liked that you recorded this straight into a lappy.

i miss those daze
we used to wonder why some days a jam session would be clear, crisp, precise, and full of energy (like this song!) - other days, it just sucked: muddled, muffled, confused, and begging to be stopped.

we never really knew why that happened - but i always claimed it was the air - high pressure (clear, dry, sunny days) seemed to me to be the best days to jam - whereas the rainy, damp, dreary days were best for dirges and endless retuning... and little actual music got played.

thanks for the memories!

You're onto us Smokey
We always check the barometric pressure before we set up a jam - and if we don't like the numbers we go to the zoo instead.
