This brings back memories of using that cheap sampling Casio SK-1 keyboard for burps and farting noises back in high-school.

...the Casio SK-1. You know, I've tried to find one of those. They're rare as hen's teeth. And not cheap if you do find one.

Actually there's a guy who modifies them for use in live band situations. I believe Trent Reznor has one. Wicked.

And yes, countless noon hours at the Radio Shack in the mall. Can't imagine how annoyed the sales staff were when we went in and sampled ourselves burping and saying swear words. Those were the days.

For the record, the one skill I could not learn through school was the ability to belch at will. What you are hearing are genuine, soft drink induced masterpieces. (some were alter using GB (trying to lay down a rhytm track.)

I don't think I can advertise the types of soft drinks used, but let's just say one of them rhymes with Proctor Stepper, and the other rhymes with Dispepsia (well not really, but you can figure that one out.

my brother and I would take the big, old school tape recorder into another room and try to one-up the other by using crass sounds we could capture on tape. ah, those were the days! ingenious!
