haha Dion, Eric's not yet on MJ. He's full time music though. Berklee Grad. Did the wild funky guitar in an Intel commercial awhile back. Super gentleman, frigthening talent. I think he listened to the progression twice and then did this. The concept, was me showing MJ to some music friends, and playin some McBoy tunage. This in turn led to a discussion of his considerable talents, Miami, Latin flavored jazz, Songs with more than 2 chords, owning a bar, owning a bar in South Beach. I mapped it out on my own and then I had Eric back to lay in his parts. I hope our McBoy likes it, I just sort of appropriated his monikor for the tune that grew out of that discussion. Sweet Was playing with my cats, with the fishing-pole-with-bird-on-the-end while listening to this grooviness. It was the perfect soundtrack for their high, graceful backflips. Nice travelogue This would go nicely as background to one of those travelogue films showing the key attractions of some resort area. Any time I see McBoy's name... ...my ears perk up. What a monster... Anyway..."I'll have a Herradura margarita on the rocks, with salt, please"..."Wow! She can take my order, anytime!"... Hmmm...nice place...music's smokin'. I take it you're the keyboard guy? Right in the pocket. Great, great sound. Nice guitar. Shades of Larry. In fact...this whole tune has shades of Mr. Carlton.
