Description
One of my first attempts to write a song with an odd rhythm. This is a collaboration with Edwin Meijster (vocals & final mix)) and Iwan de Reus (guitar-violence).
Denny Borsboom, my friend-for-life-and-beyond, came up with the guitar-arrangement and -solo, but with him being absent at the time, I was forced to start off his solo, faking it bigtime with a synth-kinda-harpsicord.
The lead vocal performance was a one-taker....can anyone find the glitches?
Oh, might anyone wonder: the artwork that goes with it is my first attempt (again) at creating an animated gif: my head morphs into something beautiful...

Lyrics
Could it be? Is it me?
Don't you see I'm in need?
Purple dream is not what it seems.
Make believe, you and me.
It's like a butterfly, fly by.
Just like a butterfly, do try...
I don't know where I go,
but in the end it's just a picture show.
The butterfly can't tell me why
there is no end to it's flying by.
Plain to see it won't be me;
as we speak inside I bleed.
Plain to see it won't be me;
as we speak inside I bleed.

An excellent performance. Great rythm section, bright and powerful. Love the pace and the space. One thing stops me from reaching nirvana : the keyboards (organ, harpischord). They overload a bit the whole thing, in my opinion. Very good song, anyway.
