Description:
This is a retread of an older tune I think I originally posted about two years ago. Like so many other tunes, this one was lost in The Great FireWire Drive Crash of 2006. I really like it, so I redid it. Plus, it's fitting for this time of the year.

This one's long, just under 9 minutes, and is in no great hurry to get to the end. It's meant to be the kind of tune you fall asleep listening to in a good way.

The main difference between this version and the lder versions is that I replaced the synth acoustic guitar with piano in the melody. I just thought it had a better sound. More in line with the nice mellow setting.

Hope you enjoy...and good night....

Lyrics:
On a cold, frosty morn as the sun warms the earth
my heart sinks as you walk down the way
soft linen sheets still warm where you lay

On a cold snowy night as the sun hides its face
my heart soars as you come down the way
Cool linen sheets wait for the warmth you will give

It worked : )
Very relaxed feel to this Joseph - love your description "is in no great hurry to get to the end". Lyrics sneak in and say their piece and the song moves on. Reminded me of the (very) rare occasions I hear church organ - last time was in Notre Dame in Paris a few years ago. The same power, but tamed by your gentle approach. Very well done.

This is as beautiful and majestic as anything that Roger Waters has done, and that's meant as a huge compliment. Bravo!

I'm a patient guy - thanks for the time to chill. No pun intended.

Like a mellow Rodger Waters. Beautiful and well worth the time to listen. Well done.
