...and without getting messy, at least to my ears... Doesn't get too busy... Sounds in spots like the opening music to a Greek play... Theme music for 'Antigone' or something...

Some people as they work with loops have a repetitive saminess to their composition, but this piece has a changing texture, and changing dynamics all the way through... It ends up being interesting to listen to...

I saw Zakir Hussein with a percussion ensemble some years back... I was reminded of that again with much of the cool percussion going on in here. I like drums :) I agree with Ed about the Greek play thing... but I seem to recall Antigone being pretty tragic. I'm thinking more lighthearted like The Frogs. You could definitely develop this into a bigger piece and add more of the melodic kinds of things from the beginning of the song. Very nice job!
