Lovely percussion I saw Zakir Hussein with a percussion ensemble some years back... I was reminded of that again with much of the cool percussion going on in here. I like drums :) I agree with Ed about the Greek play thing... but I seem to recall Antigone being pretty tragic. I'm thinking more lighthearted like The Frogs. You could definitely develop this into a bigger piece and add more of the melodic kinds of things from the beginning of the song. Very nice job! ...and without getting messy, at least to my ears... Doesn't get too busy... Sounds in spots like the opening music to a Greek play... Theme music for 'Antigone' or something...
Some people as they work with loops have a repetitive saminess to their composition, but this piece has a changing texture, and changing dynamics all the way through... It ends up being interesting to listen to...
