Description:
This is more a fun project. You should be able to understand German to find the humour in this track.Lyrics:
[Erich Honnecker] Translation (I hope it's understandable): For a very long time DT67 [East German radio for young people] has publicised beat music in their program. Additionally there was an incorrect evaluation in the Central Council of the "Freie Deutsche Jugend" [free german youth] It was discovered as the musical expression of the technical revolution. What was unseen by then is that the opponent (west germany, england, france, usa,...) uses the uptempo of the beat rhythms to push up the young people to excesses. The bad influence of such music to the thinking and acting of young people was roughly underestimated. No one in our country is against clean beat music. But it cannot be seen as the only and main form of dance music. Hardware:

and while they're effective for sure, i've heard them
enough they've lost their touch. i like the beat, though.
the fact that it's in german makes it more poetic, so to
speak, than an english version would... it would be too
obvious to english speakers of its lengthy
explanatory factual nature, which fits in a little less fluidly
than poetry.
interesting information - glad you provided a translation,
rough as it might be in a few places.
