I believe that was either recorded to a Tascam 424 mark I 4-track cassette and then bounced into Logic Express through an M-Audio Ozone or it was recorded through an 8 channel Behringer Eurorack mixer through an Ozone into Logic. I really like the way that this track sounds too. I think we used two, maybe three mics at the most: One vocal mic and a large diaphragm condensor for sure. Probably one of my favorite recordings of music that I've been involved in. Now I have a lot more gear and get a lot less done. It's funny how limitations can sometimes be liberating. ill second that more gear does not equal more productive imo. i think ive been my most creative with the four track. i think fourtrack might make a comeback. mp3 compression is great but digital can still be too clinical at times. i think it works great for this track.
