Description:
Bob was an ordinary guy. Like his name. He never hit the winning home run in little league, never broke 80 on the golf course, never bowled over 220. He had and ordinary job in an ordinary town. He lived in an ordinary house in an ordinary neighborhood.

He never though he would be anything but ordinary in anything he did. Then on the night of his third anniversary, Donna, his wife, all of a sudden looked up and him grabbed him by the scruff of the neck and said " I love how you grind it in ... baby"

At that moment Bob knew he had found his calling, discovered the one thing in the world that he could do well. From that moment on he did all he could to do whatever it took to please his wife.

After his funeral his children (3 boys and 3 girls) were talking about their father. As they talked they speculated about why their late mother never called Bob by his name, never called him Honey or Darling but always called him "MOG".

They never guessed that it meant "My Organ Grinder" and it had been her pet name for him since their third anniversary.

Movie music... &mdash 12/12/06 - 02:34:14 AM
But not THAT kind of movie. :) I was thinking of those great movies of the 80s, where weird things happen. I like it, and the description is awesome.

I don't recall ever seeing a comment by you on any of my songs before. I appreciate having new listeners. Does have sort of a wierd movie feel doesn't it? Thanks for the observation.

is facinating and compelling as is the music. very cool use of pads, and great sounds on the drums and electronica bass. Would love to know where this story/concept came from :-)

About the story &mdash 12/12/06 - 09:28:16 AM
Sorry there is not a juicy tale about the description. I'll have to make one up just like I did the description. Maybe the title of my next song will be "The Story Behind My Last Story And Song"

excellent use of bass and drums alittle heavy on the synths but besides that its very hard hitting and i like that. the leading towards the middle is realy cool. you can almost hear the MOG. WHat would have spiced it up would have been some woman moans in the background and mabey a hint of Bob saying something like yeah baby.

Here what Alannah did with this song ... it's pretty good by visiting her page and listening to "lace panties"
