Steve, that has to be the sweetest comment I've heard in a while, about the newspaper and about the heartbreaking. What a way to start the new year. Thank you! Please keep listening. I value your open-minded approach and careful comments. you must be... ....a mind reader b/c I was just tinkering with this today for no good reason, and started thinking of some new possible lyrics. And I think with all that I've learned about recording it would be nice to re-record this one (I think I recorded the main vox and the guitar at once, using the pin hole mic in my computer and no interface, etc, etc.) Thanks a lot for lifting my spirits today. E - this is obviously pretty rough, but it's a lovely track, there's a heartbreaking little song in here.
Having said that, you could sing the front page of the newspaper and it would sound great.
I'll download this, as it'll be worth a fortune on Ebay in a few years!
