This musical piece is dedicated to all the souls leaving the planet now, including my father who made his transit on Good Friday of last year. Its taken, in part from a near-death experience I had ten years ago....Its a quiet piece in the beginning but if you stick with it there is a BIG payoff in the end...PLEASE, PLEASE,PLEASE, LISTEN TO THIS PIECE WITH HEADPHONES IF YOU CAN....And a special thank you to Richard Schletty who remixed and embellished the song. What a talented person he is.....

Norman already had created a very good composition. I widened the stereo landscape by using LE7 to dupe, pan and offset Norman's original composite track (using different EQs on the far left and far right clones). Using onboard presets from my Ensoniq ESQ-1 Digital Wave Synthesizer, I added three growling low C passages (to represent base Earth) and laid in additional high synths (to help detach and lift the soul up and away into the bright ethereal night). This is a stirring, evocative piece. I hope you do more like this, Norman!

Wonderful and inspirational composition Norm and excellent re-mixing by Schletty...As I listened I thought of the words: "Into Thy hands I commit my spirit, LORD." Very nicely done! BRAVO!

Be well!

...for some time, now. The piece is finished...I think.
Took me far, far away. Wonderful work. Both of you.
I love the trumpet and where it goes from there.
Who did the artwork? It's perfect for the piece.

Ok...I've got my headphones on...It's interesting that you wanted/required that. We live in a "new age" of sound and it's important to capture all of it... This is a just a really beautiful composition with so many emotional swirlings that keep catching up with the listener. There is an underlying storyline that drives the piece and that is clear from start to finish. Beautiful mixing and shading of orchestration. Such an impressive display.I am glad I got a chance to listen to it. Thank you.

It's VERY GREAT . . . WOW it's all in there like a story . . I'm sorry to hear about Your Father . My father left Feb 2 2001 . Feb 17 we had a Great funeral - no church or Priest We did it the way WE wanted to: ) My carpentar brother made the coffin and all children(5 -no 6) & grandchildren(ALOT)made woodshavings which our Father lay on . He was cremenated & in early June we went out to sea with his neighbours great old Fishing boat(ship) & spread his ashes in the ocean . What awonderful idea to dedicate such a Beautiful Song ! ThankYou You have a Great piece of Music here

Reminds me of the moods created by the Polish Trumpet Player
Tomasz Stanko. ( http://tomaszstanko.com/ ).

Much serenity felt here. You have put me in a peaceful place.

outstanding with Klipschchch computer speakers... there were sounds coming from every where in my office (and through the door to the next room!). Aside from the sonic marvel that this is, it is a beautiful, inspiring, heart-warming piece. I can't wait to experience it with the "cans" at home tonight.

Wow Norman - this is making me cry - I'm so glad you commented on "Angel convention" so I'd know to come to your page and learn about your music. This is stunning, moving, thoughtful, spectacular. Kudos to you and Richard! (Sorry I'm so ridiculously late to the game here!)
