Description
My first attempt at a full orchestral score. Done in Finale 2007, this piece is the representation of a relationship gone awry. With brief parts of happiness, symbolized by major chords, and sadness evoked by the parallel minor chords. The counter melody in the bass instruments in the second phrase reprsents the unsettling feeling about said relationship. The B section starts off with the theme representing the female, and is meloncholy to reflect the tone. Section C is atonal and mysterious to represent the male, and his growing discontent and instability within the relationship. The last section, which is a recap, starts off with a series of cannons to represent all the chaos and animosity comming to a head, and the major chord, triumphant feeling is the male knowing the relationship is over and that he will now be able to regain his happiness.
