Description:
I found an old Metallica "Garage Days" tape in my closet. That brought back some memories. So I decided to try to write a thrash song like in my younger years. I'm probably getting too old for this type of genre but it's nice to bash around a fast driving tune once in a while to get the heart pumping. Now I have to go find a neck brace :)

Lyrics:
Regurgitate cause you can't digest
All the f*ck up bullsh*t that you've been fed
Can't you see, you're just like me,
You bleed internally

And all the love that you've professed
Has turned out to be just second best
Don't need me to tell you why
You bleed internally

[Chorus]
You medicate to kill the pain
You hibernate to shut it out
But the voices in your brain suggest you're insane

Madness comes in many forms
The body just houses the living norm
Sanity turns into clay
Shaped by influences of the day

Do you see the similarity
The difference lies in polarity
The truth has never been more clear to me
We all bleed internally

[Chorus]

a real honest KA number. I think you've nailed it. me thinks the vocal sits a little high in the mix, but thats cause I was bangin to the gits and drums. frantic, cutting and straight up. nice job. Although, by the time it ended, my heart was beating much faster than the pulsing heartbeat in the out take.

Thanks for commenting! I'm glad you like it. It sure was fun putting it together and I'll definitely lower the vocal track.

pull the vocal back after running it through a cookie monster distorto device. Any fuzz, crunch or overdrive will do. Kix arse!

Thanks! Though I played thrash when I was younger, my vocal role was as a backup. Don't know why I didn't think of putting distortions to the vocals but will definitely try that as well as lowering the vocal track's volume.

That guitar sound on the solos is great - classic thrash tone. I agree that the vocals need to be lower in the mix and monsterised if possible!!! Great.

I love your use of the Floyd Rose in your leads. The drums are powerful but a bit repetitive. You need to find some way to push your voice to the edge to get ballsier vocals to fit this genre. But overall this is a very solid effort.
