Description:
I wanted to write something different from my usual darker style. So I thought what better inspiration than Christmas!? Its got 3 "movements" or sections to it. This is the first. The next 2 are still in the works. Merry Christmas!

great &mdash 12/22/06 - 05:00:51 PM
the Q&A section where the wind and bell and strings go round robin is really wonderful. definitely on the up and shiny side this is a really cool composition. nice development and instrumentation choices [ Reply to This ]

Near the end with the same section Karmatoburn refers to. That was really a nice piece of work! The only suggestion would be to consider playing with the attack and release of your strings; at times, it sounded too "midi-like" and not as orchestral or realistic as those strings can be. Otherwise, your play between the strings, bells, and timpani drums (beginning with the sleigh bell section) gave it a superb, bright, joyful holiday feel. Nice work! [ Reply to This ]
Well done! &mdash 12/27/06 - 03:31:57 PM
Very skillfully done, and definitely has a large-scale cinematic feel. Really well orchestrated; great feel for colour. Quite exceptional, really. Congratulations! [ Reply to This ]

I'm sorry that I missed this tune at Christmas. It is really a fine tune with that magical Christmas sound.
Now to listen to your other music.
