to heaven... The intro made me think of that. But your tune also reminds me of the Australian artist John English's song 'Six Ribbons' from a TV series called Against the wind.

Great performance Bill, and your string arrangements give it a nice wrapping.

Thor, I can't believe "Against The Wind" was screened over there (although I do remember watching "Neighbours" with Danish friends in Arhus and trying to read the Danish subtitles - even though it was transmitted in the original Aussie English : )
I've seen Jon English quite a few times live and can assure you that 6 Ribbons is in no way typical of his stage presentation - he's a rocker.
