thank you thank you for your comments. no purpose, i just liked the way the sounds interracted with each other. i'm extremely interested in the resultant effect of sound combinations and the space between the sounds. i am an amatuer recorder player, please listen to my classical entries. This track reminds me of some meditation music I've heard over the years, except that the tempo and pulse of this is a little quicker. But the overall treatment, the sounds and textures are similar.
Do you have any specific purpose for this track? I'm very curious about the rest of the album.
Since I don't know the application of this piece, it is hard to make constructive comments. But I will say that this could benefit from more variation in sound and textures; perhaps use less layers in certain spots to provide additional interest.
It's a refreshing change to hear something more "abstract" here today. I like Christmas music but have had enough for another year! ;-)
