A song about, after my Dad's passing, I had a very vivid dream of my Dad and I shaving together @ an old house of ours with 2 sinks in the bathroom smiling at each other in the bathroom's mirror. I'd like to thank Linda Courtien(Onesweetworld)for this inspiration, inadvertantly, I listened to two of her songs "You won't break me" & "Crashing Stars"-Honestly they just inspired me-MJG

Like savage4hire I enjoyed the vocal lines. They aren't "cookie cutter" by any means, and certainly were very interesting to listen to. Overall production is very well done!

Hey MJG. I FINALLY got around to listening to your song. I'm so happy my songs inspired you. I never thought I had that capability :-) I like the story of you and your dad shaving and two different sinks. I could picture it actually. Your lyrics are wonderful and the song is well structured. From a technical aspect, maybe raising the vocals a little bit would help the song. From a singer aspect, I think you should sing w/ more confidence. Your voice is good but you sound like you're backing off. I wouldn't tell you to sing up (speak up) if i didn't think you could do it. Ok i'll shut up! Great job and thanks for sharing this.

Thanks Linda, you seriously have inspired me, Please, when writing back, don't hold back, your voice, spirit, looks, are amazing too me. & your comments are true. Your right about my singing(speaking), too soft/ I'm just a little shy about it.
You posted "Crashing Stars" 11/27/06, that's also my birthday, I can't thank you enough, cause i catch my self singing with you. Pretty cool present from you(unintentionaly of course)
I like the fact that we both can see visions of each other, in each other's songs. That's gotta mean somethin'. I look forward to hearing from you, Michael(MJG)

Thanks for sharing your inspiration for this. It's sentimental, but your tribute isn't overly sentimental. it's succinct and powerful. I like the chord progressions, and really love this line: Cause on those days & on those nights I hope our souls can get it right.
