WARRR! &mdash 12/25/06 - 07:36:50 PM
Yeah dude this one is great! I love the dynamics in this. Perfect for a battle soundtrack! I would add some cool percussion in there too but this is great as is. Very haunting and great crescendo and decrescendo.

Dramatic! I was slowly drawn in with sustaining interest, nice instrumentation.

hot stuff &mdash 12/25/06 - 11:50:32 PM
solid beat at the start. unfortunately classical music cant satisfy all of my musical needs. but nice stuff man, i cant criticize it. i could however, tell it was made on software just by all of the sounds of the instruments.... sorry man but keep working. the music is there, the production will come.

Starts brilliantly &mdash 12/27/06 - 06:25:29 AM
but I thought it got a bit lost in the middle before you pulled it back with the pizzicato riff.

Cheers

Cool stuff here. Can't wait to hear you break out and record some of your live instruments.

You're 13? &mdash 12/27/06 - 05:18:19 PM
If you really are 13, you show real promise as a composer. I'd like to hear what you come up with as you become more mature as an artist--should really be something special to hear.:)

Film Scores &mdash 12/27/06 - 06:03:47 PM
I'm interested in film scores, too. I graduated from film school many years ago and hoped to direct eventually--maybe I still will someday.:) If you're interested, stop by my page and listen to my tracks--particularly Dark Seas. I did it in the style of a motion picture theme.

As promised &mdash 12/30/06 - 11:19:33 PM
As I said to your post in the forums, I would eagerly await you being able to post your music, and I must say I'm very pleasantly surprised not only by your skill but to discover you're only 13. At 20, I've often felt like one of the youngest people here, but clearly not now. I wish I had started at your age, but I wound up waiting until I was 19. Keep it up and do it regularly and no doubt you'll go from good to being amazingly good by the time you're my age.

Anyway, great work, you might get a marginally better sound on the introductory passage if you avoided a few things like parallel fifths, but I think a lot of people like myself get bogged down sometimes in the theory rather than just writing like you've done, so I say don't worry about it. Sounds great anyway.

I look forward to your future music. :)
