Description:
The people at DAS. (They are dependable auto shippers). I have a brand new Ford that has to be shipped from Oakland Calf. to Nashville Tenn. We (my son and I ) took it to there a few days ago. The people at DAS told me it would take 10 to "12" days to get there!

We have not found the house that we will be living at but we contacted a great sales agent we think. She will be showing us around the Nashville area. Our house is just at the tail end of escrow! We will be moving into a Marin Suites Motel Today! Our house furnishings are half packed already in "Upack" in Okland the other half should be out today. Cause we have to be out of the house TODAY!

Wordless lyrics &mdash 12/26/06 - 03:57:19 PM
Best of luck with all the moving Bill. I've just been trying to put some lyrics together for a "road" song, and this does it without words! Lovely playing as always. Happy new year Bill.

Gosh, I hate moving... &mdash 12/26/06 - 08:32:09 PM
...so I'm sitting here gratefully contemplating the fact that it's not me having to do it...

Nice adaptation of the twelve days to a 'traveling' feel...

Wow, this song does have the feel of all the activity that comes with moving. I agree; this is a great road song. I hope you find the perfect house! :-)

A really great sound &mdash 12/27/06 - 05:44:54 AM
your playing reminds me of Leo Kottke or John Fahey on amphetamines. Very nice :)

12 days? What are they doing, pushing it?

Cheers

Dick

What a transition in your life, Bill. This tune sounds like you are very busy :-) This is the best rendition of "12 Days of Christmas" to me; beautiful playing and the cool melodies are not burdened with words.

Hello Nashville... &mdash 12/31/06 - 11:17:02 AM
...Goodbye Peachtree City, GA!

Ooooh Nashville!

The home of some really 'slick pickers' and many a guitar star.

Hey, now you can hang out with guitarist, Larry Carlton (on Steely Dan recordings...Kid Charlamange, Josie, etc.). He left southern CA and makes his home there, too.

Wishing you all the best, Bill.

I hope to visit Nashville and Memphis, home of Gibson guitars.

I hear they don't use the F-word in Nashville...Fender. Ba hahahah! :)

Loved your rendition of 12 Days. Another Tiler great!

Wishing you a smooth transition and a happy and prosperous 2007!

I wish I had found this around Christmas time &mdash 03/27/07 - 11:30:23 PM
I could have mixed this together with my 12 days of macjams and had people wondering what in the heck happened, :-) I say that jokingly. I could never place my out of tune voice over your playing. This is such an upbeat version. Great.

I hope everything workied out in the end with your move to Nashville.

Wonderful fingerpicking &mdash 03/28/07 - 05:50:59 PM
You do call it fingerpicking, don't you? Lovely instrumental. Who needs Paco de Lucia! :O)

Why are you moving?

One reason &mdash 03/29/07 - 05:38:27 AM
is the be around more musical street type happenings. The internet is wonderful but back in the San Francisco area I secluded my self too much. Here, in and near Nashville is very much the opposite for me. Today I get to start the Gorge Jones University 3 day educational seminar.

Really excited about it.
