Description
This is another soundtrack-style piece. It is my first composition in 3/4 time; I tried to create a flowing , rocking tempo. The mood is supposed to be romantic, dramatic and somewhat bittersweet. I hope it evokes imagery!

sentimental
i am imagining a war torn place..with a panoramic shot of the sunset-lit horizon...some soldier weeping silently as he embraces his fallen comrade.... all quiet and just the image of death and sadness as this music fills the whole scene with sorrow and pain.. I don't know why that's the first thing that came to my mind... I can think of a few other really sad scenes... i'm really in a very introspective mood right now I think.. we're celebrating Christmas while in some other side of the earth, people are running away from bombs, dying of disease, and just plain languishing in life... This music brings home the message like a knife thrust into the heart...

Wow!
I'm surprised that the music was so poignant. Thank you! And I can still read the sentimentality over your sheepish grin ;)

New genre for me. I love things that creat visuals for me and thi just open
I love things that creat visuals for me and this just opened my minds eye.
I could get into this venue. i shall check out more of your stuff. I love the ending as well as the tension in the half way point. At second listen I could focus more on the cello and the piano and i;m digging the cross melodies. Then you take it to new hights with the piano chords. I love this .
Thanks for this.

Great feeling...
Jason, the thing I love about your two pieces on here is the emotion and feeling generated by your compositions. Your music seems to flow right from the heart and you quickly create a sentiment that draws in your listeners. Pure feeling...it's obvious you pour yourself out in these pieces. Looking forward to more.

Hey Jason
This stuff is really nice to listen to. Don't know why more music like this isn't getting terrific scores and downloads and fans and posts.

This would be terrific for a movie for sure.

Keep composing stuff like this!

This is one of the best pieces I"ve heard using an orchestra effect.

way to go!
