thanks for the kind words Here was my process for this little jam. I started by just comping out a piano part with the metronome. But I kept it loose. Then I walked a bass line over that. Then I added a track of just cymbal ride and hi hat. Then I soloed over that with the flute setting. Then finally I added the "kicks" snare and toms and crash on one final track. It was fun. Nice work all around, I'm really curious how you put it all together. Though it's obvious that you're using software instruments, you have coaxed a very real and human performance out of them. The flute lead is wild and exhilerating - the piano break; actually a little too short for my taste, I wanted to hear some more of that, maybe even a bass solo too. You've got some real wicked bass and drum change-ups in there. It's so nicely executed that the container doesn't matter so much as the soul, and you've obviously got a lot of that. Welcome to MacJams - I'll be looking for a LOT more from you in the future!
