Description
Bass2x sent me this track, composed by MikeRC. I am unfamiliar with Mikes work, but 2x is a buddy of mine. I thought this was kind of a interesting blues groove, with the standard changes sorta messed with, anf a measure left out here and there. It was a lot of fun to play, so thanks to Mike and Bass2x.

enjoy some saturday afternoon blues!

Make that 78...or 79...
You know, this doesn't break any new ground in terms of form, but it just sounds so darned good... Fran, you sound relaxed and on it...

Nice hearing the electric against some piano...

Good to hear you getting out of that acoustic rut you were getting into...

Ahhh...THERE it is....
New Year's blues. Yum! Nice basic blues format with lead riffs that soar and sizzle and occasionally sting. Well done...BRAVO!

Happy New Year!

Great stuff!
Sounds great! Very impressive guitar licks! Very enjoyable. There seems to be a second guitar on the left speaker that is hardly audible, though... not sure if that's my speakers, or what.

Oh no! A fade-out!

(It's okay; I'll get over it. I still think this is fantastic playing, and hugely enjoyable!)

thanks clem
i have always enjoyed roy...didnt buy a lot of his records, but i saw him 3 or 4 times...he was really much better than any record I've ever heard...if you browse YouTube, you can find clips from the PBS special that aired in the early 70's...his big break...if ya look close you see jeff beck in the audience...jaw dropped!...that is high praise indeed!

I listen with interest to your posts...very interesting...i love to see this modern approach you are taking...nice work!
