great lyrics and even better composition. impressive. but look into the new mic. or if your in garageband, you should be able to clean up some of that hiss with the EQ or vocal transformer.

...a good first post...I agree with the others. I think the hiss issue could be addressed...
The use of GB loops is very evident here, but despite this, the piece has been put together rather well...
...erm, this song also reminds me of a movie...! *)

I like the Jamaican pace. As others have spotted, the mic noise is heavy; it is empasised by th on-off of the noise.

I agree with the others here - nice opening riff, and well composed. It may be just me, but it sounds like you've got some clipping in the intro.

Don't think it's a bacd mic, just lots of background noise. Are you perhaps recording too close to the computer? You've got the 'empty-studio' sound to your vox - I know this sounds weird, but if you're short on space and can't get further away from the computer, try recording under a blanket - it helps cut out background noise and stops the 'empty-studio' side effect. There is also the 'off-click' sound at the end - sort of adds to the piece, actually, but when recording, try to let the recording of your voice run on for a little bit - then when it comes to putting it all together, you can cut the end off the recording of your voice, and so cut off the click, but not your voice. And there's nothing wrong with using loops, but if you have GB (and if you do, I'm very jealous) then make the most of it. Obviously, I don't have GB, so I'm not going to get into what you can do there, but you have tons of options available to you. Excellent first post, and looking forward to more!

I agree the vocals sound a bit 'removed' from the rest of the mix.

Cool composition! Fake meat! The lyrics are funny! The flow of the lyrics are not really there! I would leave it as an instrumental. You don't really have the voice for it!

as one who never enters those places, for exactly the reasons you mention, this piece just reaffirms why i prefer to eat better.

when i was a kid, my folks took us there all the time. there were
no toys for kids back then, so you got what you got and were happy.

in fact, there were no happy meals. it was just food, and honestly,
it was pretty good back then.

but now.... ewwsh! fun song - thank you! go pats!
