Excellent First Track &mdash 01/03/07 - 08:51:19 AM
Welcome to MacJams.
This is a great debut track. Both the lead vocal and backing vocal are very strong. I would like to hear the backing vocalist do a couple of solo's during the track. to give contrast with your rapping (which sounds very melodic and has a very good tone but seems continuous all through the song). I liked the mixture of beats and your choice of Loops. It would be good to see the Lyrics written and for someone who doesn't understand spanish like me it would be intersting in hearing an english version.(although it sounds great in Spanish)
Overall it is an edgy fresh sounding track with lots of attitude, great vocals and original lyrics. Nice work.
I look forward to hearing more of your music. [ Reply to This ]

Thankyou very much.

Lyrics &mdash 01/03/07 - 01:30:08 PM
[ Reply to This ]
Translation &mdash 01/03/07 - 03:02:46 PM
The night has turned black
The moon begins to shine
A spirited steed and a cape in the wind
El Zorro is on his way.
Anyone thinking to do evil
Should better start trembling in fear
For in every trail El Zorro waits ready
And not a one will get away
The story of Zorro was born in California
With Diego and his destiny that nobody ever forgot.
His name will ever shine, ZORRO,
delivering hope where there's pain.
He is now here, there's nothing to fear,
For Zorro will always conquer. [ Reply to This ]
Great rhythm! &mdash 01/03/07 - 03:11:31 PM
This is a very good debut track! It really reflects your youthful energy and has a very infectious beat. The rap in Spanish is both pleasing and amusing, just because i haven't heard much of it. This is a very engaging introduction to Espanol rap. Hope to hear more from you! Thanks to Secamode for the translation, but hope you can put that in the song description. You Mode guys related by the way? [ Reply to This ]

Good first post Daniel &mdash 01/04/07 - 02:32:23 AM
the arrangement and mix is very good, as is the rapping
(although as you'll no doubt know Hip-Hop rap is not my fort or area of expertise - you might not have heard Carft yet or Rolo - which I would recommend, although I can say that not being able to understand the words meaning actually makes you more focused on the sound and lilt, phrasing etc) and you seem good at it to me.
I liked the backing singing touch was clever
(Zorro being dashing and a very romantic hero figure), you could bring sis up in the mix a bit. Good loop choices (still quite recognisable eg. starting with "Modern Rock Guitar 14"). Only thing I'd like to hear is that solo muted trumpet somewhere - as for me this is something synonymous with Zorro. (I loved those B&W films in particular as a kid). Apologies if my English is hard to understand - I get a bit verbose/wordy alot (ask your bro Sergio/Secamode ... I did wonder when he was a fan before you had posted anything ..lol) .. with such a musical family, you may be able to pull in some session musicians as a favour too. Thanks for sharing, keep up the good work. [ Reply to This ]

Super-funky! &mdash 01/04/07 - 11:10:25 AM
[ Reply to This ]

the man behind the mask &mdash 01/10/07 - 02:30:41 PM
For a guy of 14 years old, this is truely stunning. And not only for a 14 years old... :-) Your brother Sergio told me that you did this in only a couple of hours. Now tell me, is he a big liar, or are you just THAT talented?! And hell, where is my mask and my black cape. I have to go rescue a couple of very beautiful women!
