I did this a long time ago while playing around with PT free. Used and still use it as a demo for my audio production students manly cause it has about a thousand regions in it and heavy use of the effects and mixing section of PTFree. Glad you like it. [ Reply to This ]

ABSOLUTELY. you did a great job stringing these bits of historical sound snippets into a cool piece. is that YOU on What Ya Got to Say? the driving beat is excellent - the BOUNCE/BUTCHER repeats a nice touch. enjoyed your creation! anne

I'm glad you stopped by and commented. Not me on this but some un-named artist from a really old loop disc I took in trade for a job I did for a doctor about 8 years ago. [ Reply to This ]

Yes, it is remarkable that we can still listen to the voice of people who aren't here any more. Actually hearing a voice is more direct than reading it on paper, sometimes second hand.
I enjoyed this collage. Coolness. [ Reply to This ]

At the beginning of my audio production course, I hold up a CD and tell my students that it is a time machine. On the disc is the record of what happened in my studio last month or last week or last year or ten years ago.
I had occasion to take a tape that was made by my grandfather back in 1949 and transfer it to CD a few years ago. When I heard his voice on the tape I could smell him ... yes literally smell him. It was a time trip for me.
I became interested in radio and television and the recording process because it was and remains magic to me. [ Reply to This ]
