Description:
Imagine an etiquette consultant sitting down to write her daily column...and getting a bit carried away ;)
Every now and then, creatively, I like to wander off the beaten path and try something different.
Well, here I am again...
When Mungo posted "What Not To Do," I found the piece very intriguing.
I downloaded it and, in the midst of recording a couple of days later, improvised some vocal tracks, following the theme of the title.
I was at a bit of a loss on what to do with the additions, as far as mixing them all effectively, when Bryn offered to mix it.

Biba_nova: Added atmospherics, synth tracks, final mixing in Logic.

My association: To Mungo's dreamlike landscape you have added this lady consultant, who is awake but seem to be in some feverish dream state. So the scene becomes even more surrealistic since she is kind of fysically there (the keyborad tells) in this mystifying landscape.
I came to this song after having browsed through Vlad Gerasimov's fantastic free wallpapers (www.vladstudio.com). Many of them suits the moods of this post perfectly well.

I felt like I was transported into a n unwritten Bette Davis movie where her mind is racing and she's trying so hard to act normal tfor her friends and relatives but she's paranoid, oh, so paranoid and she can't stop thinking all these bitter, angry thoughts but she was raised to be oh, so genteel and can't express it, can't deal with what she's feeling inside and she's going snap, she's going to take it out on someone, some man, but not yet., because she has to hold herself together and act Normal, Sane, Calm, Ladylike, Proper, Polite.
