Description:
Another one pencilled in note for note. There are a few places which I'm not happy with, and the ending is a bit weak, but hey, it's a work in progress....feedback very much appreciated!!
Artwork is done with Bryce 6.

Thanks ego! &mdash 01/05/07 - 12:25:15 PM
Thanks! There's just a few places where it seems to falter, to my hearing, anyway. If you can't hear it though, that's all to the good! :D

I like the tune. &mdash 01/06/07 - 06:22:12 AM
Yes the piece does falter at a couple of points, mainly at the end of sections and almost at the end there was a probable mistake, but the music itself has wonderful dynamics and the arpeggio portions sounds as though someone with rubber fingers is playing.
Great work. I think that you should continue with working on this piece as the end result, once you are happy with it, will be a likeable, flowing piece of piano music.
Have a great 2007.

Rubber fingers... &mdash 01/06/07 - 10:37:10 AM
Thanks Reinholt! I will keep working on it! :D

When the last eagle flies over the last crumbling mountain, And the last lion roars at the last dusty fountain, In the shadow of the forest though she may be old and worn, They will stare unbelieving at the last unicorn!

Nice start! &mdash 01/06/07 - 12:44:22 PM
Wow...I'd not have the patience to pencil this in note by note!
So that alone is impressive to me!
Yes, there are limitations with the synth sounds but that's just the limitations with the synth sounds.
A little polishing on those endings, perhaps, but it's great how it is.

I am out of breath! How do you play so quickly!
Are you sure you only have ten fingers?
I would like to have heard a sudden stop to release the building tension and then a quick climb up through a couple of octaves. But that could just be my tired old ears talking. [ Reply to This ]
