Lyrics
I don't take the trash out,
On Tuesday night, cuz I,
I gotta clean my house,
Besides that's your job.
If this was my house,
I'd send you away,
For your blatant disregard,
There are rules,
When you leave your newspaper everywhere,
It makes me mad,
But there ain't nothing I can do about it.
And I think that it's just so unamerican of you to say,
That you are prettier than me.
Sure you got that exotic thing going for you,
But I can be quite charming.
CHORUS I:
And Johnny said the sky was falling,
But nobody believed it.
So here we all stand,
With our heads above water,
And our hearts in the sand.
They used to teach me sunday school,
They said Jesus, was coming back, to get me after school,
But I just want my mommy,
I don't need Jesus Christ,
He ain't my mommy.
There're so many things I could not see,
Cuz he was standing in my way.
CHORUS II:
So when I say that the sky is falling,
Won't you please believe me.
And here we all stand,
With our heads above water,
And our hearts in the sand.
I used to sleep in church,
Cuz the preacher just talked, so damn long,
And my mommy smelled so good,
I sleep on her shoulders,
And she would wake me up,
'Son, you gotta give your dues to the Lord.'
And who knows what the fuck he gonna do with it,
Here you go lord, here's my five cents,
Five dollars I worked for,
Gonna give it to you on Sunday,
Cuz you are Jesus Christ,
You are my lord and savior,
Hallelujah, hallelujah the Christ is coming.
Christ is coming,
Like a thief in the night,
Stole my time, stole my religion, stole my joy,
And I ain't happy no more.

I really enjoyed the lyrics, great job writing. The production is good, and I really like the guitar and singing. The only thing that struck me a little odd at first is the way everything is very reverby except the drums, which seem very dry. But now I'm used to it and think it sounds good. Nice work, Boi.
