blues depression &mdash 01/06/07 - 09:16:49 AM
Nice bluesy tune... fits the title pretty well, hehe. Great guitar playing and a neat overall sound of the instruments. Can I give you one practical tip in general? Don't upload a bunch of songs at the same time like you did now. People often go listening to the 'new songs' listed under the 'music' chapter. All your songs will be disappeared of that list after two days, and that's a shame for such good music... You know, I'll make you a forum thread to attract some MacJammers to listen.

Btw, are you flemish or wallon (not that it matters, I'm a true Belgian)

It seems you're from Brussels (that makes you more Belgian than I am, lol)

exellent &mdash 01/06/07 - 11:04:12 AM
I'm loving your phrasing... knowing when not to play just as important as when and what to play... but I know I nit-picked earlier... this one is an example of getting it right... I listen with my eyes closed and I'm hearing the guitars and bass and drums all believably in the same environment...

once again you are very musical, and your stuff is easy to listen to because you keep it interesting

great guitar, great song! i like how you build it up, leading to that brief break about 3/4 through... that works really nicely. i can imagine some vocals might work nicely with this.

thanks

Well, I came for a listen after seeing your post in the "best blues" thread, and I must tell you that within seconds of playing this, my 2-year old (25 months, actually!) said, "That nice music!" He then added "I like that music!" That's two more compliments than he ever gave my nusic, so consider yourself honoured!

I like it a lot too. Skillful, soulful playing.

Always admired the appreciation of kids. People say that they're always telling the truth. So I have absolutely nothing to worry about. (accept the fact that I'm bald, heheh)

take hold and ride the wave of emotion. The way you play guitar off bass gives it a very real feel another excellent piece of music!
