Lyrics
Oh baby come in from the rain
Oh baby come in from the rain
Oh baby come inside
There's no need for you to play these games
Oh baby come in from the rain

Oh baby come in from the cold
Oh baby come in from the cold
Oh baby come inside
I'm sitting here waiting just growing old
Oh baby come in from the cold

My house is nice and warm and dry
My house is nice and warm and dry
My house is nice and dry
There's no need for you to wait outside
Oh baby come in from the rain

Thanks for listening..
...and taking the time to comment. I'm having fun figuring out this alternating thumb thing. Never thought I'd be able to do it, but I think I'm finally getting it!

Wait a second .........
........... while I stroll out to my front porch! Nice picking for sure - this sounds like a lot of fun. Reminiscent of Hot Tuna, and a good listen - laid back and accurate, a difficult combination.

Thanks Neil...
Jorma is one of my guitar heroes--I dream of attending one of his camps someday and learning directly from him!

Great guitar sound
You have a really nice warm presence on this recording. The vocals are also fine, although I'm not sure the doubling or separating it sounds like you have there is necessary or desirable. The harmonica added a nice touch to the whole thing. You have a real classic sound going, there.

Thanks KristyJo
You know, I thought about not doubling the vocal---maybe it just complicates a mix that should stay simple. I think I'll listen to to again without doubling. Thanks for the listen and comment!

Transcendental blues
I love this track. So tight and clean, the essence of transcendental blues: blues with a light heart, like the vagabond that has shed the world to find joy. A smiled the whole track.

Thanks for listening..
I have a couple of more like this that I'm working on. I never thought I would be able to do the alternating thumb thing, but I went to a guitar camp with Guy Davis instructing, and I got inspired to finally buckle down and WORK at it. Wish I'd had this kind of drive and discipline when I was eighteen...

Glad you liked it.

Good Song
Really well done song, simple arrangement with good vocals and guitar playing. Production is also good, except for the pops on the "baby."

Harmonica is a good touch too. Way to go.
