Description
tcarey asked a really great question on the main forum ie, how long does it take to write a song etc. This is the result after 18 mins.
Totally as it is. I suppose it is like a rough stetch etc. A first idea. Full of duff notes etc. (Sorry about the guitaring Cori)

This could really be developed ...
.. and have hit potential. Your voice (excellent in this) reminds me of Phil Collins a bit. Simple and very effective .. the time changes on the string backing seem a bit ahead sometimes and the odd duff note to be penciled out, still amazing for 18mins. I can't get my guitar tuned in that time ...I'm sure if you ask MJers, you could get what you want for this one but perhaps that is not necessary .. just needs more time in the end spent on it, I'm sure you could come up with the goods.

Thanks Alan!
Thanks for your comments, especially about the construction of the song, ie; the strings being ahead etc, this is really helpful and exactly the sort of response I hoped for. I think that the question of how people write songs is so interesting and I love reading or listening to how others do this. Not being a musician as such GB offers me such a lot to play about with so your comment about opening it up to a collab sounds great (I assume that is what you mean). So once again Alan thanks for your comments.
