Come Inside
Put up your feet and stay awhile

You got a cool power rock tune here. The guitar work is really quite good, particularly in some of those solo parts. The overall arrangement sounds good and filled out with some great driving power. Solid singing too. The timing is pretty sloppy (I think it's the drums that are off) but the energy is great.

This has a live concert sound to it. I think there are a lot of little things you could do to balance out the mix and tone a little better but it does sound quite good as it. I think it could use more volume on the bass guitar and a bit more clarity in the percussion. Were the drums recorded with just one mic? If you have multiple tracks of the drums I'd say spread them out a little.

I'd give the vocals a little more upper-mid EQ boost to clear them up and maybe give them some really short echo effect (something like the "early reflection" preset in GB's Track Echo effect); nothing too heavy.

Overall, a really cool rock tune.

Thanks, &mdash 01/08/07 - 06:40:00 PM
I appreciate the feedback. I'll see what I can do eq'ing wise. It's never been my strong point. I'm playing every instrument on this, so you are correct insofar that my drumming is off at times. However, I have a real drummer who will be re-doing the drums, so hopefully that will help. Once again thanks

great power chords &mdash 01/10/07 - 12:00:02 AM
a nice cutting lead guitar. but hey you're playing the drums that counts for a lot (even if your recutting them) a click track can help. anyway it's rock n'roll and i like it!

Appreciate your words. I will let you know when it's redone with my drummer too. With the limited time I have, when I get something "almost" done, it's sometimes good enough for me to put up. Even thought after the fact I have to agree with all of you that the timing is off. But anyway thanks for the feedback

Cool anthem! &mdash 01/11/07 - 08:52:13 PM
Big sound, great leads, spirited (and, truth be told, pretty good for an un-'real' drummer) drums. I will work my way back through your stuff. Good job!

I like my stuff "over the top" a little bit. Soon I want to create something with cool explosions and rippin guitar and a symphony thrown in there for good measure. PS - That "Nocturnal Remission" song of yours is way cool.
