Description
Technotronic + impending doom = pump up the damned.

Another old Stun Nutz creation (this one is from 1996, I think). One of these days I will create something new...

I only wish...
That it was a little longer. I really enjoyed the driving beat that you've got going on here. Well done!

yeah...
...that's the thing with these old tunes of mine... not many of them were over a minute... just mere sketches. One factor was that the computer I was working on was pretty slow in processing this stuff and anything longer really taxed the system. Thanks for listening...!!!

Ah.
This one is up there with Itchie Ritchie. Not quite as side-splitting, but a real giggle-fest. A bonspiel of insincere reminiscing. Funny, in other words.

Just for the record
The opening guitar riff from Roxette is from 1989. Pump up the Jam may also have been late '89.

Now that I got that off my chest, I have finished listening to all the tracks you posted and this was my favourite. I hate to sound shallow musically, but...
"It had a good beat, and you can dance to it. I give it an 8 Dick!"

No, I can't. You didn't allow voting.

hah!
Yeah, '89 was a good year for cheesy popular music and great pre-alternative music... a wide range of stuff going on that year.

Something about the title...
"...I just had to look---having read the book..." LOL! interesting soundscape, but all too brief. It gets really cool then stops short! Your confusing the hell out of the damned! (Hmmnnn....)

Be well Eric!

Really original approach
I like the openness of the structure and imagination behind all of your choices. Why so short? I was just getting into it.

hey Bud!
I created this a while ago (in '95) on and old PC... not only was it difficult to process piece of music longer than this, I was even more impatient back then... sorry to keep you hanging!

very interesting blend of flavors. i like the discordancy when the chord edges of the various parts don't quite match up - it's nice and twitchy - one of my favorite moods. i could use a long loop of this in my ear to get me going - excellent aerobic groove. i believe i shall proceed to do so henceforth. thank you! aerobic anne

Got that Alfred Hitchcock suspense thing going; a paranoia attact on a train. Wait, Wait, I missed my stop! Very evocative sound track.

evil
I always thought that "pump up tha jams" track was from the devil. you have darkened it considerably...which is a good thing. I recognized it instantly. The heavy radio play has drilled it into my brain for all eternity.
