Description:
Waltz variation 1

Very impressive &mdash 01/14/07 - 04:15:29 AM
I certainly admire your piano playing. Your compositions are very complex, and you play with passion.
Whereas I would not call this piece a waltz, which is, after all, a dance, and I don't think this suite can be waltzed to, I am in awe of your playing ability. [ Reply to This ]

Lovely piece! &mdash 01/14/07 - 10:46:31 AM
I can't give you expert advice, mainly because you seem to be the expert here! Well played as far as I can hear and a very enjoyable phrase varied to avoid repetition. Chopin naturally comes to my mind. Didn't he too like to use the piano keys as percussion at times? But you vary this with softer sections which add to the dynamic of the music. Nice! Flavors... &mdash 01/14/07 - 11:34:10 AM
I'm hearing flavors of Keith Jarrett here... Yummy.
I really enjoyed this piece and your playing as well. [ Reply to This ]
great sound &mdash 01/14/07 - 12:53:48 PM
Hun, is this a real piano you're using here? If it isn't, then it sounds great for a software instrument. Excellent performance and a great composition.

Winter joy &mdash 01/16/07 - 11:07:06 AM
Excellent use of register changes, creating a three hand illusion. You get the most out of the GB piano sound, amazing. I love the dancing quality, the joy. [ Reply to This ]

I like it &mdash 01/18/07 - 12:03:16 PM
Nice galloping feel... not quite waltzy, but very bouncy, and extremely talented playing there, Hn. Nice composition. I have no idea what "style" this is, but it is a good romping time.
