This is great. I love when the horns come in. You've done well. A lot easier to listen to than my techno version!

Nice job &mdash 01/14/07 - 08:28:02 PM
Definitely one of the most beautiful pieces ever written and you do a great job with it. Nice job with the voicings of the different instuments. It all works very well together.

Pachelbel's ponderous workhorse &mdash 01/15/07 - 11:04:53 AM
This is so well loved because it does have a very satisfying chord progression, thus its played to death and then people can't stand it, too bad. You did a nice job of improvising variations over the main theme, and good job choosing instruments, they sounded good. You had them panned apart so they are distinct, cool. I liked the little syncopation bits in the oboe(?) although it was played a little fast and didn't get any breath, so he probably turned blue and passed out at the end :) Nice work, you're quite good on that keyboard!

Oh My &mdash 01/15/07 - 12:25:22 PM
Now that is something different. Pachelbel seems to be hot stuff still. I tried my luck on http://www.macjams.com/song/28087 only this weekend and look what you just came up with! I will have to bow to you, I hardly even got the bass line right and gave up totally on the melody etc. This was way cool, with a little help from JamPack, OK, but some pretty nice sounds you got out of it still! Big thanks for the listen.

polyphonic delight &mdash 01/15/07 - 04:50:21 PM
Nice adaptation of a timeless classic. Some voicings could be improved, or perhaps the overall warmth of the instrumentation could be improved. There are too many high frequencies for my ear. Your arrangement of the polyphonic elements is quite good.

pleasant &mdash 01/16/07 - 10:14:10 PM
like how it picks up were you add your personal flair. The whole tune sounds well done to me but your personal touch is a great addition to the piece.

Way to go!

Hey, we were just talking about this - &mdash 01/16/07 - 10:25:29 PM
and here it is. Nice. I concur with a couple of other comments that there could be more midrange, and a wee bit more bass in your instrumentation. I liked how you had your personal variations and then the final chord sequence in its simplicity, finished up the whole piece. A really satisfying ending, IMHO.

Reminds me of my wedding where it was played by out of tune violins. Yours is a nice modern rendition. I'll have to check out your other work.
