Description
This is one I swear I thought I have posted before. Maybe I did and I took it down for some reason. But this is a complete remake of the original written and recorded more than two years ago which was lost when my Firewire drive died.
It's almost a companion piece to a couple of tunes I've previously posted - Frosty Morn and Widow's Walk. Same style, a lot of the same instrumentation, including the use of the English horn.
It's simply a nice, peaceful meditation inspired by so many sunsets I've watched from at or near the spot in the photo above.
I hope you enjoy.

Lyrics
Beautiful light
Shine for a thousand years
Help light my way
Like the stars far above
Beautiful light
Shine forever
In the eyes of the one I love
Slip away quietly
In to the dark of night
Hold my hand
As we drift far away
Cool mists move silently
Touched by teh summer breeze
Hiding the Earth
As they sing us to sleep
Beautiful light
Shine for a thousand years
Help light my way
Like the stars far above
Beautiful light
Shine forever
In the eyes of the one I love
Shine for a thousand years
Help light my way
Like the stars far above
Beautiful light
Shine forever
In the eyes of the one I love
Slip away quietly
In to the dark of night
Hold my hand
As we drift far away
Cool mists move silently
Touched by teh summer breeze
Hiding the Earth
As they sing us to sleep
Beautiful light
Shine for a thousand years
Help light my way
Like the stars far above
Beautiful light
Shine forever
In the eyes of the one I love
