Description:
ORIGINAL POETRY IS " AME NIMO MAKEZU" BY KENJI MIYAZAWA, The one of the most famous poetry in japan written in early 1900s

u can see more infomation abouth this poetry at :

http://homepage2.nifty.com/uesugihayato/strongintherain.htm

Lyrics:

Strong in the rain.

Strong in the wind.

Strong against the summer heat and snow

He is healthy and robust

Free of all desire

He never loses his generous spirit
Nor the quiet smile on his lips

He eats four go of unpolished rice
Miso and a few vegetables a day

He does not consider himself

In whatever occurs...his understanding

Comes from observation and experience

And he never loses sight of things

He lives in a little thatched-roof hut
In a field in the shadows of a pine tree
rove

If there is a sick child in the east

He goes there to nurse the child

If there's a tired mother in the west

He goes to her and carries her sheaves

If someone is near death in the south

He goes and says, ‘Don't be afraid'

If there's strife and lawsuits in the north

He demands that the people put an end to their pettiness

He weeps at the time of drought

He plods about at a loss during the cold summer

Everybody calls him ‘Blockhead'

No one sings his praises
Or takes him to heart...

That is the sort of person

I want to be

Might help if you add a space within "StrongIn" in yout
song title, otherwise people won't be able to search for it.

My word! This is a Mac digital voice! How original is that? I
can't believe I'm saying this...but it works!

ohh ty, thetiler and Chimas , im happy to see non-japanese liked this great poetry of Kenji Miyazawa.

usually, i dont read any poetry but This "strong In the rain" was so impressive when i read at first. i have seen his hand writing of memo at Kenji miyazawa musium when i was 14 yo. strong in the rain was really just a memorandom on his tiny notebook, and he wrote it when he was sick to death at midnight.

i hope Kenj in the heaven wont get mad at seeing what i ve done to his great work....

I like the contrast in the upbeat funk and the fairly depressing, but artful, poetry lines. Cool!

Great organ parts! Almost makes me ignore those cheesy
horns....

No seriously, you get high marks for originality. The
electronic voice is very cool, and the backing track is very
well done. Variation in the rhythm, strong playing (at least I
hope they're not loops?).

Cool stuff.

omg its the first song i have posted 1 year ago !!!
this is kinda amazing still someone find this :o

ah... these r all loops i remember lol.
they r all loops came with GarageBand disk(iLife04 disk), but i used 2 or 3 basic rythm loops mixing in to get some groove.

i got this idea looooooooooooooooooon time ago when i have listened to a record of jazz player "Billy Harper". he used 2 drummers for one song and gave it great groove.

yeah, i agree with u about crappy sound of horns of Garageband, it really sux for serious music, but doesnt it fit to silly joke songs?:p

Thank you very much for listning to this anyways
