Description:
Another one of our live,Pychedelic, little number's. A story about facin' your fear.

Lyrics:
I know the way, way back home, it comes real easy, and it comes when it goes,
I know the way, way back home, it's real easy if ya go the slow way home
I know the way, way back home, won't ya take me back there, ya won't be alone.
I know the way, way back home, on your knees now, ya don't need to be alone.
On your way back, on your way back home, won't you say"hello" & won't ya go slow.
On his way back on the road that day, memories oh memories, remembering yesterday. Remember those days, in the good ol' years, your skin felt real and you felt so dear.
Remember those days when ya felt so near, Everywhere felt, oh, real as it could, Drift....

Improv Solo

So we picked up our things and we headed down the road, such a lonely, lonely, road and the only way to go.
Picked up our things, as we headed down the road, down the ol' road to Lake Poncha George, she said, " Picked up those things and they headed down the road & took the way, way, down slow... "Took the things down to the ol' muddy trail, the old muddy trail down to Mexico..."
Picked those things up and they headed down the trail, as they headed down the muddy river ol' ville.
Picked the things up as they headed down the road, with a little bit of heart and a little bit of soul,
Refrain:-Just tryin' to get away, from the fools they stole, Picked the things up from the middle of the road, as they headed back west down to ol' Mexico,
Picked their fear up and they headed down the road, they could hear those angels and those poor, lost, souls,
As they picked those things up and they headed down the road, No they couldn't get away from ol' Mexico...
Ol' diablo, sang his tune, as he headed down there, and he waited, for you,
Old diablo, sang his tune, as he waited down there, and he waited for you...
Just there, then, the clouds broke up,
A Voice did appear and this is what He said,"Old diablo, go down low, take yourself back to the river down low................"

I hate to point out the obvious &mdash 01/16/07 - 03:41:44 PM
but this is why they invented recording studios.....

Cool song otherwise.

Fascinating &mdash 01/18/07 - 02:13:02 AM
Kind of a super-cool cross between Neil Young and Beck. I love the lyrics and I love the unusual song structure.

Vic's right about the sound quality, but for a live recording this isn't bad and I hope you guy will eventually lay down a more-polished take because the song is great.

I(We) apprietiate you listening and commenting, I know your a fighter/survivor, and a natural beauty with some serious brains and will power.
- attempt a studio version of "Ol Mexico"?, it would clean it up. I'm glad you enjoyed the live version, hear from you soon-MJG Love Neil, tryin' to give Beck a chance, he's a good musician, very talented songwriter.
