Description:
This is the new version as it will be released on the Confessor Moon album....

For a good laugh play this back to back with the original version located on my profile page....

A swampy bit of tube driven rock. A chorus you can hum and a groove to bob your head to. A bit of a classic sound. All instruments and vocals were done by me with the exception of some stellar organ work performed by my good friend in Nashville TN. Mr. Kevin Reeves also known here on macjams.com as reevesman check him out!!!!

Lyrics:
everyone who's here now
tell me do you hear now
the message that's been sent
over and over again

leave your baggage at the door
cause you can come just as you are
there's no religion within here at all

no need for this now
no need to fuss now
everything is fine now yeah yeah
our shame is burned away

leave your baggage at the door
cause you can come just as you are
there's no religion within here at all

Cool tune! &mdash 01/19/07 - 07:15:58 PM
Sounds great! I think the vocals might be a tad bit soft. (Maybe it's me. Not sure.) Otherwise it was cool. I enjoyed the music!

smooth and hard &mdash 01/20/07 - 01:52:40 AM
I like it. Nice drum sound and a very good mix. driving. The band reminds me of Gino Vanelli---vocals could be brought out a little. Nice work!

Love that opening lick! &mdash 01/22/07 - 10:24:53 PM
Great guitar man! Actually, I'm loving the guitar all the way through. And the production is well done as well. You doubling up on the vocals? Sounds great whatever you are doing!

Great Alt.Rock &mdash 01/23/07 - 12:30:28 PM
and I generally don't even like alternative much, but this is fresh, unique, and not as swampy/grungy as some, though your singing seems slightly low in the mix... important since the singing is great. Nice smooth tune.

Kool low end &mdash 01/23/07 - 06:06:43 PM
Yeah, Spring; more sweet, well produced, catchy rock. Nice guitar tones and riffs, and the drums are just right. This is nicely polished.

Great Track &mdash 01/24/07 - 06:09:59 PM
Great production as always. I agree with what a few others mentioned--the terrific vocals seem a touch low to me. You do such great work--why aren't you famous already? (Or are you? I don't get out much...:) )

I really dig that into..... &mdash 01/25/07 - 12:23:50 AM
Vocals sound excellent too, this song rocks you guys, love that guitar, Percussion/bass tight, very nicely done. Some tiny bogs, but the live feeling really comes through....

Great! &mdash 01/25/07 - 11:18:09 PM
You're getting a great sound on this tune...sound is strong, clean, and well-balanced; vocals are extremely well done. The only thing that did not live up to the rest of the excellence of the tune was that little bit of guitar solo just before the guitar swell. I just didn't think it carried well and sounded twangy compared to the fullness in the rest of the tune. Great f'in track!!

Have you called your music teachers to thank them for everything they did?

Fantastic song. My first exposure to the noise the springclock makes.
