Vocals Thanks for the comments, and for listening. Well, to get the vocals...I used the vocal transfromer set to "deep soulful", with the EQ set to "Increase attack and also set to Bass Amp/Rock edge Bass amp and of course the overall setting is through Guitars, not vocals. When you are not a singer, you need all you can get. Check out my latest song called Whisky Drinkin' Bastard

True grit! Amazing guitar! Burn it up man. This is more raw than an open sore. Hot slide work! Kudos! Be well! Logos Man: http://www.macjams.com/song/28320 |

Impressive song I just wouldn't call it "blues (traditional)". But impressive it is. Good guitar work, simple but effective, and your treatment of the vocals also adds to the impact of the song. Check out my latest song called Pipe Spring at Dusk

Exceptional production choices on this The lo-fi on the drums and the voice are perfect. The voice almost takes the place of the sound of the Harmonica through a green bullet mic. It has that same distortion that works extremely well here.. Excellent use of the tremolo on the backing guitar tracks too. Check out my latest song called It Was a Dark and Stormy Night

Lo-fi... Thanks for your comments. I always experiment with deconstructing the production value a bit. The whole less is more, never too many tracks, etc. Appreciate you listening. Check out my latest song called Whisky Drinkin' Bastard

I like the vocals on this one. How did you get that sound? I would like to see the lyrics posted. Nice guitar work too. I would like the guitar to be a little louder though, especially in the solo during the 1st and 2nd bridge. I think it might also be a little lenghty. Nicely mixed.
