Lyrics
Your harmless face, could stand here and watch me dissappear?
Oh my, don't think I could stand to watch this one go.
Once or twice, wouldn't it be nice to spend just a day or two, just to be here with you
should you, make it clear, thats what mostly I fear.
I find it hard to play that card.
When times not my side.

Mysterious
Very good job here. I really like the mystery of the lyrics, the sparse/simple accompaniment and the singing. There's a mid-high frequency hum that you may want to get rid of... it's the kind of sound you sometimes get when you don't use a pre-amp for the mike.

A thought I had about the ending is to (a) not repeat that last line ("Once or twice..."), and when you get to "just to be here with you" have the voice alone, without instrumental accompaniment, and maybe with reverb boosted on the last word.

Just a thought. Great song, though!

An enjoyable song....
I really enjoyed listening to this song for the main reason that the vocals were not sung as I expected them to be sung. The phrases were spaced in such a way that the music was complimented by them.

IMHO unusual, but unusual GOOD!!

The musical accompaniment was excellent.

Hmmm...
Very Bowie-esque (& not in a bad way;-)
I find the drums a bit irritating, though - not that I could really think of anything specific I'd have done with them instead, but they just sound stilted, holding up the flow of the piece rather than complementing it.

Time is on your side
This is a great tune. Tasty piano and a genius simple arrangement. You have a good voice, and seems very good for this song. I agree about the Bowie-esque comment. At first I wondered if it was a smart move to repeat the piano hook in the solo guitar. But it gives a stronger image of the hook-line, and now you have made me sing it...:)
