to answer your question, no, i don't think it's possible to overwrite, which is definitely a bummer.
version 2 is absolutely a sticky pleasure, dava! this is an infectious piece that, in your signature way, starts-grabs-and moves the listener out of the chair.
if you could see me, i boppling 'round like one of those bobble-head dolls right now. great rhythm! one thing i especially like is the length of the piece. too often pieces of this flavor are too short and don't allow a listener the full experience of falling in completely. this sure does!
i could see myself listening to this when running, biking, snowboarding, or even just going for a brisk walk. the drive behind it is enough to carry one along at a good pace.
