...and beautiful. Very nice idea to put a warm pad in the background. The sound of the guitar could be a little bit softer (more lower midtones and bass). But I am really hoping you will make this piece much longer. The atmosphere you are creating is just so enjoyable and comforting. It's the kind of music I would actually enojoy listening to, not just at work but also while reading at home. I'll definitely come back and check for more music here!

Thanks everyone for the comments. I searched through Garageband and found the recording I'd done, and I think I can remember the settings for the guitar (!) so I think I'll have a go and either amend the original to stretch it out or do another much longer piece. Watch this space!

I really dig this--but it sounds like just an intro to me. I was waiting for to explode--or at least build--into a bit more intensity.

It rains like hell where I live, too, and I find myself writing lots of lyrics involving rain. I suppose it just makes those sunny days all the sweeter...Jim
