Description:
Love Songg; The Monggz as soft-hearted, whining sissies. Boo to them. I've remixed and remixed this, but the bass keeps going over the top when the voice kicks in. Thank God this is the last song of the Thank God for the...Monggz serie.

Lyrics:
You've lived life to the full
before we met each other
and I'm listening to look cool
stories to know you better
about the boys before me
and how they made love to you
and baby that makes feel blue
like being stabbed in the belly

la la la la
head in the sand
la la la la
talk to my hand
don't talk to me
cos I'm away
baby
on a two-seconds holiday.

Oh I've heard this one before
about when you f***ed in public
and I just can't take anymore
I think thatI'm gonna be sick
hey I know you're not to blame
to wan me to know what's true
but I feel I'm knowing THEM
as much as I'm knowing you

la la la la...

Before you keep on baby
ther something should tell you
I know your life already
more than I've ever wanted to
and something that you should know
we are now then but we are now
the good thing about the past
is it' not supposed to last...

lalalala

Whining Sissies &mdash 01/24/07 - 08:06:08 AM
CJ, Glad to hear that this is the last of the TGFT Monggz series. I have a bootleg of the original release and it's been great comparing your reworked versions. Of all the songgz on the cd, this one has the most surprizing vocal treatment. I think it's well done and blends nicely with the beefy bass line and a more distant guitar placement. Same great guitar sound, just half the calories. Don't be embarrassed that the Monggz have a soft side. Just put down that Chardonnay, grab your guitar and stomp your RAT pedal with those fuzzy slippers of yours. This is a really good strong element of this series of songgz. Thanks for sharing. Sissy.

fuzzy slippers rule ! &mdash 01/25/07 - 07:25:24 AM
I DO have fuzzy slippers, as a matter of fact. "The fuzzy slippers": wouldn't that be a great name for a band ?

Sense of proportion &mdash 01/24/07 - 04:44:33 PM
If we assume that the guitar and drums are where they should be, then the bass is simply too loud. Also, may I remark that the bass doesn't actually have a lot of bass in it?

I like the guitar and drum part, a very solid grooving basis, and the vocals are fine too, but that bass is really annoying! Take it down an octave and a couple db?

Victor.

bass trouble &mdash 01/25/07 - 07:22:13 AM
The problem is the bass is carrying much of the melody. So it's got to be heard loud enough. I tried most of the amps simulation settings and it always was either too little or to much. Maybe I should change the mix altogether.
