Description:
Due to having problem simulating sounds of real instrument (not having access to close sounds to it), and other problems, it became a tremendous issue, a problem to balance out energy and attention to different areas needed for the composition and producing(simulating). Having a rather selective will to pre-define aesthetic theme of a piece, 9 out of 10 times end up sounding a nightmare. Until I become more balanced and mature, enough to allocate right amount of energy into different areas needed for composition, these 'unconscious', 'effortless' sketches will continue just to document random emotions & expressions. - feel free to listen and criticize. guidance upon compositional directions such as genre, style etc.. would also be greatly appreciated :D

music expresses emotions & expressions &mdash 01/25/07 - 04:17:59 PM
that's it. So IMHO, you're on the right way, I think. I am just starting to figure out, what the possibilities are, using a Mac for making music.
I like to go to my digital piano, when there is some emotion and some need to express myself, and then I try to remember the tune, mood and melodies in my mind. And in the right moment, I build a complex structure of this remembered pieces. That's my way... Find You're way by doing it, there is no special secret...
For the moment I am working on a "Symphonie for Digital-Piano and GarageBand in C minor"...;-)
And I would be glad, if I had your skills in simulating sounds of real instruments...
But anyway, I will express myself and grow with my work... My first song here was just kidding with GB so far...
So, stay tuned!
I like your work!

The music behind the sound.... &mdash 01/26/07 - 10:33:33 AM
The samples are rather letting you down here, soundwise, but the composition still comes through. This piece is a bit unusual for this site (take a look at my last one, it's similar in a way) but I like it. This piece develops in interesting ways. Continue writing this sort of thing, and you'll go far. [ Reply to This ]
Talented! &mdash 01/27/07 - 10:26:04 AM
You are insanely talented. You know that, don't you? This is quirky, original, and quite sophisticated. Have you ever thought of taking composition lessons with somebody? You just seem to have an amazing amount of musical ideas in you, just waiting to come out, and m aybe studying composition would be a good experience. Here's a specific comment: I'm not sure about the merits of repeating everything; even in sonata form, the recap often has changes from the exposition, and in some cases there are quite a few differences; it just makes things more interesting when there are a few changes. Also, in sonata form, only a section is repeated (not the whole thing, and it comes after what is often a very lengthy development section, so that by the time it returns, we're ready for it--we haven't heard it for a while so we've missed it!
